HazmatU® and AutoEHS® are e-learning programs designed to ensure that employees and students in the automotive industry have a clear and accurate understanding of the Dangerous Goods (or Hazardous Materials) shipping regulations. Our programs help dealerships and facilities prevent violations of federal, state and provincial law and create a safer and healthier work environment for employees.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) strictly regulates the transportation of hazardous materials within the United States. The DOT’s Hazardous Materials Regulations requires all hazardous materials employees to receive both INITIAL (within 90 days) and RECURRENT (minimum of every 3 years) training if they:

• Work in a shipping, receiving or hazardous material handling area
• Are involved in preparing hazardous materials for transport
• Are involved in transporting hazardous materials
• Are involved in preparing shipping papers

Likewise, Transport Canada enforces the requirements for dangerous goods training within Canada’s provinces and territories through Part 6 the Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations.

HazmatU® and AutoEHS® will help you meet these regulatory requirements. This system will also help dealerships and facilities stay current with the most recent regulatory requirements.
