How do I pay for a CCAR HazmatU® site license for my dealership?

How was CCAR HazmatU® announced to FCA and Mopar dealers?

A packet of information was sent to your dealership through DealerConnect in October 2016.

I have been assigned CCAR HazmatU® Administrator responsibilities for my Dealership.  Where do I find my Administrators Instruction Guide?

All fixed operations manager job codes default to administrator role. General operating instructions are available in the web-based training (WBT) Library from within the course.  For assistance with administrator access, please contact +1 (888) 476-5465 or email mopar@hazmatu.training.

How long is my CCAR HazmatU® training certificate good for?

DOT regulations require you to receive INITIAL training within 90 days of becoming a hazmat employee.  DOT requires RECURRING training a minimum of every 3 years. Why should our dealership use CCAR HazmatU® for our Hazmat training?

CCAR HazmatU® is the standard compliance curriculum across the FCA / Mopar enterprise.  It is  also an FCA / Mopar requirement for any dealership hazmat employee who ships, receives or transports hazmat-related parts to/from FCA / Mopar and its affiliates.  In the future there will be custom modules to support special parts recovery needs and obsolescence returns. (e.g.,  air bag modules, lithium ion batteries, etc.).

CCAR HazmatU® is always available for new associates at a very low cost.

Our dealership already uses a third-party training program/provider for HAZMAT training – can we use non-HazmatU training?

While some dealerships already have a HAZMAT program, there is a strong business need for a common, industry-standard training program designed expressly for automotive industry Hazmat employees.  CCAR HazmatU® is the preferred program for hazmat employees who work in FCA / Mopar dealerships. You may choose non-HazmatU training; however, you will pay an additional fee to have your certificates tracked by CCAR HazmatU®.

We are a dual dealer - do we have to pay for two site licenses?

Use of CCAR HazmatU® training and administrative tools is based on a dealership site license and your dealer code.  For a nominal annual fee, your CCAR HazmatU® site license gives your dealership training privileges for all fixed operations associates associated with your dealer code. License fees must be assessed for each unique dealer code.

What do I do if my dealership has an associate who isn’t listed as an authorized user in CCAR HazmatU®?

Only fixed operations associates are covered under your CCAR HazmatU® dealership site license. If you have an associate who does not appear in the CCAR HazmatU® Learning Management System, confirm that associate’s credential is active and job-code up to date.  Your Administrator can add associates and change jobs codes through the Dealer Connect interface. If your records are up to date and you are still having difficulty with an associate who does not appear in CCAR HazmatU®, please contact CCAR HazmatU® support at +1 (888) 476-5465 or email mopar@hazmatu.training.

What if I have already purchased training from CCAR HazmatU® at the regular price?

In the event an FCA / Mopar dealer already has a CCAR HazmatU® account, existing training records can be transferred.  Any remaining license fee will be pro-rated and the unused balance refunded. Please contact CCAR HazmatU® support at +1 (888) 476-5465 or email mopar@hazmatu.training to initiate the process.

I am new to the FCA / Mopar brand but was CCAR HazmatU® certified under another brand.  Do I need to take the training again?

As long as you are within the 3 year certification window and enrolled in the Learning Management System (LMS) with an appropriate job code, CCAR HazmatU® can transfer your records into your dealership’s account. Please contact CCAR HazmatU® support at +1 (888) 476-5465 or email mopar@hazmatu.training to initiate the process.
